With 12 lifts and 37km of runs Cairngorm is the best known resort. Aviemore is the nearest town with a bus shuttle to the slopes. The slopes are accessed by a funicular from the main car park up to the Ptarmigan at 1100m. When open for snowsports the first train goes up at 09:00, the last train is at 15:20 and the last train down is at 16:00.
The Welcome Meeting will be held online, the evening before your course is due to start.
Your Trainer will contact you directly to arrange a time.
NB: The welcome meeting is an integral part of your course which we strongly recommend you attend. It is a chance to get to know your Trainer and fellow students as well as gain valuable knowledge about the weekly programme including timings, weather and piste information. The meeting will explain the course material and you may be asked to prepare something for the next day (possibly a short teaching session or further reading depending on the course). It is also a chance for you to speak to the Trainer about any issues, worries or questions you may have.
