Courmayeur boasts 100 kms of exciting downhill runs. The village nestles comfortably at the foot of mighty Mont Blanc, Courmayeur is a delightful, old traditional Alpine village, at the heart of which is a maze of interesting, narrow cobbled alleys and is largely traffic- free.
The ski area rises to over 3,000 metres and is perfect for beginners, intermediate through to advanced skiers who will appreciate the well-groomed and quiet pistes.

Pre Course Welcome Meeting
A pre-course welcome meeting for all courses will be held at 6pm on the evening prior to course start date at the Hotel Telecabine in the village of Dolonne (Via della Vittoria, Frazione, Dolonne 11013, Courmayeur, Tel. 00 39 0165 846767. This venue is also used for evening lectures as advised by your Trainer.
NB: The welcome meeting is an integral part of your course which we strongly recommend you attend. It is a chance to get to know your Trainer and fellow students as well as gain valuable knowledge about the weekly programme including timings, weather and piste information. The meeting will explain the course material and you may be asked to prepare something for the next day (possibly a short teaching session or further reading depending on the course). It is also a chance for you to speak to the Trainer about any issues, worries or questions you may have. Please make every effort possible to make this meeting however, if you are unable to make the meeting, please contact the office on 01479 861717 to advise. On - Snow Meeting Point
Unless otherwise stated by your trainer, you will meet each day in front of the Bar du Soleil (at a time stated by your trainer). At the top of both the Dolonne Gondola and the Checrouit Cable Car there is a long plateau, walk along this to the very end of the flat, to the point where the ski runs funnel down underneath the ‘yellow’ gondola. On the very corner on the left hand side is the Bar du Soleil. Opposite is the Interski Ski Hire building. Interski will permit you to store your skis and boots here overnight, should you wish, as well as leave shoes and bags there during the day. If you have any problems or are going to be late, or cannot find the meeting place, please contact our coordinator.
