Who are Snowboard Coach?

Snowboard Coach was the first and original independent snowboard coaching company in the UK. Established in 2002, by Ash Newnes, who has been riding and coaching for over 25 years, he is one of the most respected coaches in the British snowboard scene. Ash was appointed a BASI trainer in 2003. Snowboard Coach has grown since the early days and now consists of a group of BASI Snowboard trainers, ISIA and ISTD qualified instructors. They deliver a variety of UK based riding and instructor courses all year round in many of the UK's indoor snow centres.

During the winter they offer in-resort BASI courses to help you progress your snowboard instructor career. With a winter base in the amazing duty-free village of Arinsal in the Vallnord area of Andorra, their programmes take full advantage of Andorra's duty fee status and offer great value for money, making it one of the most cost effective places in Europe to do a BASI course.

Why Snowboard Coach?

We are not just a company selling courses from an office and getting someone else to train you… We do it all ourselves; from the training to the exams and the beers in between, we spend the whole winter with you. That’s why our prices are so good, we don’t need to pay for anyone else!  We’ve ALL worked our way through the BASI instructor pathway and know what’s important to improve your performance and give you the best possible chance of success.
