Re-assessment
Re-assessments must be taken within 2 years of the date of the course failed, otherwise the candidate will be required to pay for and attend the whole course again.
If a candidate fails both the Teaching and the Technical elements of the course, they must retake the whole 8 day Level 2 course.
If a candidate fails the Teaching or Technical element of the course, they can book onto a 4 day Level 2 Re-assessment course.
If a candidate fails the 4 day Re-assessment course twice, they must complete the whole 8 day Level 2 course again.
NB: If you are not quite at the level, there is an optional, 5 day Training course (Snowboard Level 2 Performance Training) which we strongly recommend you attend, in preparation for the Snowboard Level 2 course. Students booking the Snowboard Level 2 Performance Training course at the same time as the Snowboard Level 2 or the Snowboard Level 2 Re-assessment course running in the same resort the following week, will receive a discount of £50 off the Snowboard Level 2 Performance Training. Please contact the office to make your bookings and to get the discounted price.
COVID Re-assessment extension
Re-assessments should be taken within a 2 year period. However, due to Covid-19, BASI recognises that members have struggled to attend re-assessment. Therefore, BASI have granted an extension by one year for members who were required to complete the re-assessment (within 2 years of the date of the course failed) before September 2021. Members now have until September 2022 to complete the re-assessment.
