This is a 5-day on-snow training and assessment course with lectures and seminars. The aim of the course is to increase the students technical competency and understanding of skiing.

The student must show the required levels of:

• Understanding and knowledge.
• Skier analysis and skier development.
• Personal skiing performance.

PLEASE NOTE: All students attending the ISTD Technical course will be required to bring to the course the following safety pack; a transceiver, a snow shovel and an avalanche probe, with a small rucksack to carry them. Students will be asked by their Trainer to carry these with them on days that they are likely to go off-piste.
