As you can see, Nordic now has the inclusion of Cross - Country in its name. This change is to reflect
that we are now concentrating on training instructors in the foundation of all Nordic techniques, but
specializing in track skiing.

When we look at the content of track skiing, it is obvious that there is a considerable amount to learn and therefore the modules will reflect this. We hope that the modules will enable students to be able to study each subject in great depth.

The structure will take the form of two levels, Instructor and Teacher (ISIA). 
At Instructor level the student will be taught all the basic techniques of Nordic skiing. This will include the techniques used whilst travelling in tracks, both classic and skating, and techniques used to ski downhill,
basic parallel and basic telemark.  At Teacher level the syllabus will specialize in track techniques only.

Both the classic and skating techniques will be taught and analyzed to the highest degree. These modules
are designed for students who want to perfect their own personal standard of skiing and who want to teach
clients to reach their own maximum potential.
