BASI currently works with a limited number of European Business Partners (EBP) Program and will do, again, for the season 2010/11 with the following:
- The International Centre of Excellence (Val D’Isere)
- New Generation (Courchevel & Meribel)
- British Alpine Ski & Snowboard Schools (Les Gets & Morzine)
Each EBP has to be a registered business in the country where it provides BASI courses. The company needs to be registered as a snowsports school which provides training courses.
The EBPs conduct their own marketing, bookings, course administration and cover all costs including a licence fee to BASI.
They only run a limited number of Level 1 & Level 2 Instructor Courses which must be charged at the same rate as advertised by BASI.
To ensure the quality of the product they must only use staff who are on the current trainers list.
Primarily the EBP’s provide access to BASI courses for locals in resort and therefore BASI will only use one EBP in each resort.
