Book Lessons with a BASI Approved Ski School?
In some countries like France and Italy, snowsports is a regulated industry and the requirements for operating and running a ski school are laid down in law. There are many countries, including the UK, where snowsports is not regulated and so there are no legal requirements in place on who can run a ski school or teach snowsports. To this end, BASI operates the 'BASI Approved Ski School Quality Assurance Programme' so that the general public can easily identify ski schools that have been BASI approved and meet high standards in areas of safety, instructor recruitment, customer enjoyment and learning.
